Jeff Merza

With no prior professional training or schooling, Jeff Merza at age 18, landed a graphics artist job at GFN Graphics located in Canoga Park, California back in 1994. GFN Graphics is a 3rd party vendor for SBC (then known as Pacific Bell) contracted to create ads for the Yellow Pages phone book. There he met his mentors and friends in which trained him, honing his artistic and technical design skills specializing in print and logo design while learning the value of client/artist relationship. Since making phone book ads meant creating ads for every type of industry, Jeff learned how to adapt to meet each individual clients design taste while adding a touch of his own. He would later on meet a fellow designer and future business partner in which will give birth to a whole new design company.

Armed with the technical skills needed to continue on with his graphic design career, Jeff joins forces with Brian Sanchez and Bryan Cotton to form their own company. Thus giving birth to Demigraphics in 1999 located in Panorama City, California. The partners would then teach themselves to cater to the growing industry of web design. Although a small fish in a huge pond, a mix of passion for the art along with personal goals and tragedies fueled Demigraphics' drive to excel in the design world. Currently Demigraphics has a modest amount clientele proving to themselves and to others that their skills and business ethics would make a dent in the industry. Now armed with experience, Jeff would take on an offer that would help boost his career.

In 2001, Naki World Incorporated located in Walnut, California, a leader in video game accessories employed Jeff to become part of their design team. This addition would later prove to be efficient, as he performed a key role in the product development and packaging design area. Producing over hundreds of products, Naki World became one of the top dogs in the 3rd party video game accessories industry. Designing packaging and products for use with all video game consoles further enhanced his repertoire. In 2004, Jeff was made Sr. Art Director and currently works full time.

Having over 12 years of experience Jeff has learned the true reason of his drive for success. It is choosing whether to serve to better profit, or profit to better serve. He chooses the latter. For his compassion for his family, loved ones and colleagues, and the love for the art, in turn is reflected towards his clients. To give back what he has learned, to serve others just as they served him, that is his goal.
